A composição da pintura é inspirada na obra do pintor da Renascença alemã Albert Dürer: “Self-Portrait at Twenty-Eight”.
A obra mostra o autor da pintura retratando sua imagem a partir do uso de seu celular, aqui ocorre uma dualidade entre o ato de retratar sua imagem pelo uso do celular, em contraposição à própria imagem pintada.
O uso das tecnologias hoje cria as cavernas contemporâneas, o auto-retrato do artista utilizando o celular representa a sombra no fundo destas cavernas.

The composition of the painting is inspired by the work of the German Renaissance painter Albert Dürer: “Self-Portrait at Twenty-Eight”.
The work shows the author of the painting portraying his image from the use of his cell phone, here is a duality between the act of portraying his image by the use of the cell phone, as opposed to the painted image itself.
The use of technologies today creates the contemporary caves, the artist’s self-portrait using the cell phone represents the shadow at the bottom of these caves.
