A pintura se inspirou na obra do artista italiano Caravaggio intitulada “Boy with a Basket of Fruit”.
O mito da caverna aqui explorado traz o questionamento a partir da necessidade de criação e massificação de imagens, onde o uso das tecnologias representa as sombras no fundo das cavernas contemporâneas.
O fundo da pintura traz a imagem atual da cidade de Roma, onde há uma paisagem composta por construções históricas. Aqui nesta paisagem a arquitetura resiste dentro dos tempos atuais e expressa a idéia do imutável.

The cave myth explored here brings or questions from the need for creation and massification of images, where the use of technologies represents the shadows at the bottom of contemporary caves.
The background of the painting brings a current image of the city of Rome, where there is a landscape composed of historical buildings. Here in this landscape architecture resists within the present times and expresses the idea of the unchanging.
